Flora is a new photography exhibition at Studio 391 featuring the works of Kim Kauffman and Christopher Burkett. Flora is a side-by-side view of two schools of color photography – digital vs. traditional – both producing stunning photographs.
Using the scanner as camera, Kim Kauffman's photographs explore a cameraless and filmless technique while Christopher Burkett photographs with film cameras and make Ilfochrome prints in a traditional darkroom.
The exhibition opened on Saturday, November 7, 2009 and remains on view through December 14, 2009.
