Vistors Flock to Studio 391 For New Shows

Studio 391 was teeming with activity on Saturday, March 26. from 4 to 7 pm in celebration of the new exhibition openings and announcement of the formation of the Cypress Village Gallery District.


The new photography exhibition, For The Birds, featured new gallery artist Yuko Ishii and her bird portraits. The exhibit also included works by gallery artists Kim Kauffman, Unai San Martin, William Scott. Concurrently, Paris: City Views, a new solo painting exhibition by artist Charles Waldman featured a dozen new oil paintings. Exhibits are on view through May 22.

Attendees enjoyed viewing the new exhibitions at Studio 391, mixing with fellow gallery goers while enjoying a taste of gelato by Gelati Pazzo Marco and wines by Les Caves Roties de Pente.

Neighboring galleries in the Cypress Village Gallery District hosted artists' receptions and exhibition openings on the same day. Gallery goers to the gallery district also enjoyed viewing fine art, meeting artists, sampling hors d'oeuvres, sipping wine and live music. There were approximately 300 people visiting the gallery district to partake in the festivities.
